In addition to our local ministry in Belgrade, Maine and its surrounding area, Lakes Christian Fellowship recognizes its obligation to support those who have committed their lives to the education of others in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We recognize that there is no higher calling than to be a minister of Jesus Christ. We appreciate each and every one of these missionaries and outreaches and their commitment to serving their communities and a new life in Jesus Christ. Eric and Lori Brown are missionaries right here in the northeast with a passion to reach young people with the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. Their desire is to serve local churches here in Northern New England in any way that they can. Eric and Lori define “serving” as helping churches be aware of and use Word of Life’s many awesome youth ministry tools, speaking at a church, or simply spending time with a pastor.

John and Christy Page, and their family, are missionaries to South Africa through Word of Life ministries. The heartbeat of their ministry is the evangelism and discipleship of young people. They carry this out on a daily basis through the Bible Club program in local churches, having our home open to young men and women to stay with us and be trained, and also through our personal involvement in our local church here in South Africa.

Harry and Joyce Straub minister through Crossworld Ministries. Harry works with and aids local churches in their missionary efforts and programs, by recruiting volunteers for missions trips. Harry is a gifted teach offering missions workshops, seminars at Bible colleges, and conducting missions conferences. Harry has lead many short term missionary teams to places like Dominica, Kosovo, Brazil, Ecuador, Ireland, Uruguay and Montreal. He has also trained and supported other teams to Papua New Guinea, Costa Rico, Italy, Uruguay, Ireland and Ecuador and Ukraine. Harry was instrumental in Lakes Christian Fellowship 2017 Tent Revival right here in Belgrade Maine by training and preparing counselors for those that came forward. We praise God for Harry as several came forward over those two days to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
